Call for Research papers is now open!
MHIRA & SDGs ACADEMY MALAYSIA jointly organised the Research for Global Goals initiative which was designed to be a premier knowledge stocktaking exercise on the steering effects of ‘governance through goals’. This high-level academic research will bring together around 10 local researchers from the social sciences focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals as a novel mechanism of global and national governance.

MALAYSIA HEMPTECH INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (MHIRA) provides a collaborative environment for researchers, academicians, and/or experts to explore and share their findings on wide aspects of Industrial Hemp.
The programme prioritises eligibility for participants who have not been the principal investigators of any research grant.
The purpose of this research is to give an opportunity for all Malaysian from field themes to research Industrial Hemp as well as paving towards Linking UNSDGs and Industrial Hemp to submit original research manuscripts to MHIRA.
Live presenters are the participants who contribute to the conference in person with a paper presented by a live presentation. Each presentation will last 10-15 minutes. You will be informed of your session reference and the time of your presentation before the National Industrial Hemp Dialogue 2022.
SCOPE & SUB-THEME
The topics and scopes of interest for submission involve all research disciplines related (but not limited) to the themes and sub-themes as follows:
● Rule of Policy & Local Government
● Food Security
● Medical Law & Ethics
● Environmental Law
● Natural Fibre
● Medical Hemp & CBD
● Foodtech & Nutrition
● Nature’s Conservation/Agro-Forestry
● Climate Actions
● Renewable Energy
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae (CV) and application form before the deadline.
2) Restrictions on research topics will not be applied considering the different ranges of each potential participant’s university.
3) Results of the programme are expected in 6 months, and at latest at 10 months.
4) The programme output includes 1 Scopus-indexed journal paper.

PUBLICATIONS
Proceeding
All papers will be evaluated based on the suitability of the scope and quality criteria as set out in MHIRA Industrial Hemp Research proceeding. All accepted papers will be published in ISBN Proceeding. Papers will be selected based on their reviewers’ scores and appropriateness to the proceeding’s theme. All extended versions will undergo reviews and must represent original unpublished research work.
Selected papers will be published with local Universities. However, all decisions are subject to the respective MHIRA requirements and editorial process.
